Energy storage systems (ESS) understood in the energy industry as a game changer. By means of storage, excess amounts of electricity, in particular from renewable energies, can be temporarily stored and used at later times. Grid-coupled ESSare in use, in particular to ensure grid services and grid stability, as well as ESS in private and commercial use. These ESS are purchased because the self-generated kWh, including storage costs, is cheaper than the supply from the public utility grid. Private households thus achieve a self-consumption coverage of around 70% and also commercial customers have significant cost advantages. The integration of storage in house optimizations (smart home) or in virtual power plants can provide additional benefits.

electromobility

  • Development of marketing concepts
  • Development of supply concepts
  • Construction of billing solutions
  • Development of smart home concepts

The electrification of private and commercial fleet traffic is unstoppable. Pollutant discussions and climate change require a shift in mobility. The development of a charging infrastructure in the private, semi-public and public sector is an opportunity to implement new concepts of energy management. The change of the "tank behavior" into "loading if possible, not if necessary" creates new tank locations. The gas station of tomorrow is in your own home, in the underground car park of the multi-family house, in the shopping center or on the company car park. This requires new management and billing concepts and thus represents the basis for new business models and sales channels. The integration into supraregional or European charging infrastructures creates the necessary customer acceptance.

Emission Trading

  • Guiding the development of the firm's in-company emission trading
  • Compiling an emissionsinventory
  • Creating a procurement and sales strategy
  • Supporting operative emissiontrading

On 1.1.2005 emissions trading started for certain companies within the EU. These companies, which account for approximately 46% of carbon dioxide emissions in the EU, have to provide a corresponding number of carbon dioxide emission certificates each year. Increased quantities and shortages can be bought and sold throughout Europe.

  • Portfolio analysis
  • Creation of a structured procurement
  • Market launch
  • Risk management

The liberalization of the European electricity and gas markets offers energy consumers the additional option of distributing the energy supply to several suppliers and products in the best possible way. This results in the need for suppliers to respond with new, flexible products.

Market access

  • Guiding the firm during it's entry into the German and foreign markets
  • Winning keycustomers
  • Analyzing respective markets
  • Supporting the firm during its operative entry

The introduction of services and products in a new market is associated with high costs. It is important to achieve a rapid market penetration in order to limit the start-up costs. Here, the help of partners from the respective markets is very helpful.

Price prognosis

  • Short, middle and long-term price prognosis
  • Price prognosis formulation as a service
  • Guiding the firm in the development of prognosis tools

The prices on the European energy wholesale markets have recently risen significantly. For a risk-adequate procurement, but also for a risk-aware sales, knowledge about the expected price developments are indispensable. Special instruments indicate how prices will change over the forecast period.

  • Commercial analysis
  • Establishment of controlling / accounting
  • Assistance with financing
  • Takeover of CFO activities
  • interim management

Young companies have often developed a technical or software-technical solution or service and have taken the company's growth out of their own resources. Further growth is expected, with external capital needed. Further growth, and in particular the raising of capital from third parties, requires the development of a finance and controlling area in order to meet the reporting requirements of external investors.
